Hi Wix Dev’s, I have spent many hours researching and trying to learn and get up to Velo code speed. I have notice many, many customers looking to create unique IDs to use as reference numbers across multiple CSM databases. Sadly, this is time consuming to research, sadly WIX has nothing via an API call. Could you please consider adding an API reference to leverage this functionality?
Customers want to be able to create a customer unique number.
Customers want to increment the number without end-user interaction.
Customers want to store this number in session data and re-use it across multiple pages.
Customers want to store this unique number into the CSM database
They want to do this, because WIX CSM database is missing unique identifiers that can be tied across multiple database collections.
Could you please consider doing some of the backend code work to make this simpler. So much of WIX is easy, why is this aspect so challenging.
