# Wix Email - notifications@wixanswers.com - is this real or a scam?

I received an email from “[notifications@wixanswers.com](mailto:notifications@wixanswers.com)” and it looks like such a scam.

They are asking for -

1. A description of your business.
2. Government-issued document showing your business registration.
3. If you have a Wix Payments Business account: company or corporate registration, official tax document or articles of incorporation.
4. If you have a Wix Payments Individual account: document showing you are a sole proprietor.
5. Proof of delivery of a product/service you’ve provided (such as proof of shipping or an email with a download link).
6. Government-issued ID of the business owner(s).

It seems like a lot of information to give out and I don’t see anything in my dashboard about this. Has anyone had this happen? Or does anyone know this email is legit?

If you’re unsure, I’d recommend following the steps outlined here to double check - [Identifying and Reporting Phishing | Help Center | Wix.com](https://support.wix.com/en/article/identifying-and-reporting-phishing) - if you’ve recently been in contact with the team regarding this topic - I’d recommend following up on the ticket too to check if this is legit etc 🙂
