WIX Events: Business Upgrade to Accept Payments?

My site currently has an Unlimited account (Freelancers & Entrepreneurs), and I just added “Wix Events” with ticket purchase. Now it says I must upgrade to a Business Unlimited plan to accept payments. I have done this plenty of times on my other sites with the same plan, and have never had to upgrade to a Business Unlimited. Is this a new feature? Does it depend on the amount of the ticket? HELP…

To accept payments with your events you do need a business plan. With events - not necessary, but accepting payments with events requires a business plan. You can contact support and ask them to help you out. :slight_smile:

Yes it’s new. It is now considered a premium feature.

I had this today. My client had the ‘Wix eCommerce’ plan and has been selling online for a couple of years. When I added Wix Bookings it said he had to upgrade! There’s no mention of this anywhere, when you choose a plan it lists ‘Accept payments online’ and you assume that covers everything.
