Currently, it is not possible to create “Chapters” on a video in Wix Online Programs.
Some courses require “deeper nesting” and sub-lessons. We can work around the need for an additional level of lessons by creating a “table of contents” of sorts within the lesson or a way to create links that will bring the student to a specific time in the video.
The seek() function exists in the Wix VideoPlayer API, so the functionality is possible within the Wix infrastructure. It just has to be made accessible with no code within the Online Programs environment.
Some other platforms also allow you to add effects, pop-ups, and other light video editing. A video editing infrastructure also already exists that can be utilized with Online Programs, and could be used as the interface to add the chapters.
