WIX POS: Add a customer issue

So a few months ago, I submitted a ticket based on quite a game-breaking issue. The POS “send a receipt” - where the Wix app would either tie the in-store order to an existing customer based on their email or created a new one entirely stopped functioning correctly. Instead, it just added the emails to the admin account meaning that customers’ emails would be added to the admin account (possibly creating some GDPR issues). Wix then released the ability to “add a customer to cart” this is a great workaround (although takes a bit longer than previously) however, if there are 2 customers with the same name, they both appear in the search, there is no way to then inspect the customer to see if their email matches up the customer.

“just search by the customer’s email” you may say, however, I have found that the search option is a bit optimistic in this regard as if the 2 same-named customers have a Gmail account, they both still appear as the search as found “@gmail.com” in the customer information regardless of if it is the same customer or not.

A simple “more info” (…) button on the app would put this problem to bed entirely or even just display the email below the name in the search table.
