Wix studio issues

Hi All

I have just started to use Wix Studio and find it very notchy to use and not that great to be honest but, maybe it is me which is why I am asking these questions.

when adding text to a site and photos using the website mode I can get everything where I want it to be and it looks great. Then, when I go into the mobile mode it has compressed everything really small which I can see why as its fitting it to a mobile screen.

What I wanted to do is put spaces in the text to add photos in between but, when I change this in mobile mode it throws everything out of sync in website mode.

my question is…Is there a way to edit the mobile mode without it throwing out the website mode? un syncing the two.

Also, when I align everything up in mobile mode, publish it and then check it on my mobile phone the alignment is completely out of sync compared to what I see in wix Studio.

Like I said, maybe it is me doing something wrong?

Any help would be appreciated.

Hey @Tony_Jeeves!

New tools obviously take time to get used to, but I’m sure with a little practice, you’ll conquer it! :muscle:

In the meantime, I’d highly recommend checking out the Studio Essentials course if you haven’t had the opportunity already - https://www.wix.com/studio/academy/courses/wix-studio-essentials-course.

The Wix Studio editor is a cascading editor, which means changes made on larger breakpoints trickle down to smaller breakpoints. And changes on smaller breakpoints, don’t affect larger breakpoints. That being said, structural changes (re-parenting elements) or data changes (changing the source of an image), will happen across all breakpoints - Studio Editor: Designing Across Breakpoints | Help Center | Wix.com

Hope that helps
