Hi, I need help on connecting our database to the wix video app so that we don’t have to manually input vimeo links and tags… I’ve been trying and looking for video tutorials that could help but couldn’t find any. Is this possible?

Is there any workaround to be able to at least fill in each of the data fields for Wix Videos? (ie. title, summary, etc.). I am literally spending days entering data into these fields one video at a time for 650 videos when I already have all the data in my Collections.

you can write a short script with code to do it, do you have the videos available as URLs in the web?
can you please share some more context?

Thanks Shlomi (incidentally one of my best childhood friends shares your last name)…I did notice this last night when I was working on the site. However, I don’t believe that it will help me when it comes to Wix Video – I could be wrong. The biggest time suck has been having to input the titles, the categories for each of the 650 videos, one at a time. I know I could use a video player element and save some time, but I do like the features of Wix Video like the search, comments, note taking guide, etc. so I guess this is my trade-off. Let me know if you know something different…

interesting :slight_smile: this is a Hebrew name which means the ‘Sun’
to your question, you are right at this stage, this is a work and hopefully we will be able to add such an api in the future

@shlomi-shemesh One issue I am having with linking a video to the database (Facebook and Youtube) is that if nothing is in the database field, the video will maintain the last link supplied…rather than just being blank or the default video. Thoughts?
