Add a comma to numbers from dataset

Hello all.
As title, I need to manage to put a comma, dot or generic separator in numbers (ex: 50000 should become 50.000, or 50,000) pulled from a dataset into a repeater.
I already tried the code suggested here:

but that doesn’t work.
(I just get the number in the placeholder txt with a dot. Hence, I presume it just overrides the “pulling from dataset” code.

Any idea would be appreciated.

Please share with us as well if you have found the solution, we have been asking this for long now but wix support didn’t provided the solution
