AddressInput validating input?

I was wondering if there’s a way to make sure addresses entered in the AddressInput element are valid by forcing the user to choose from the suggestions after they start typing. As it is they can ignore them all and type whatever they want, I was able to input “jfnshs” and it is considered valid. If not is there a better way to validate this input?
