We have one owner account and 2 admin accounts that all have access to all the data collections. Starting from today, the two admin accounts suddenly lost access to the data collection via webpage. The Chrome developer console gives “WDE0027: The current user does not have permissions to read on the X collection.” for both admin accounts. The data access via Wix “Content manager” still work. And the owner account still works both via Content Manager and via our own webpage.
There was no code or permission change prior to this symptom. Could someone help me debug?
I am suddenly getting the same error too. The page/collections I am working on worked two days ago, now I am trying to pick up from where I left off and I get this error.
I’m getting a very similar problem. Suddenly I, the owner of the website, can’t retrieve WixEvent records and get PERMISSION_DENIED: Requires WIX_EVENTS.READ_EVENT_DASHBOARD permission;
I am also getting the same error now.
I don’t know if it will help anyone but I’ve found a workaround to my problem. In my case it seems that it’s only getEvent that’s affected so I’ve temporarily replaced it with a queryEvent which works! Go figure.
Still experiencing this issue. The only workaround is to loosen the Data Collection permission from “Admin” to “Sign-in members”. But this weakens our security measure on data access. Wix, please provide an ETA for the bug fixing.
