I’m having trouble with
The “My Groups” sidebar on my Wix Studio site. Every group listed links to the same group, no matter which one I click. This also happens when I switch to grid or list formats — all items link to a single group instead of their correct ones.
Working in
Wix Studio Editor (site is still under construction)

What I’m trying to do
Create a sidebar showing multiple public groups, each linking to its own group page. Visitors should be able to click a group like “Challenges & Micro-Actions” or “Stuck? Vent or Ask for Support” and land on that specific group page — not the same one over and over.
What I’ve tried so far
Tested in Preview mode: all links point to the same group
- Tried switching the group display format (sidebar, list, grid): same issue
- Manually created 6 groups, each with its own description and posts
- Confirmed that the “Go to group” icon in Manage Groups does bring me to the correct link — but those links aren’t applied in the sidebar
- Turned “Show groups to join” on and off
- Tried adjusting permissions and settings
- Looked for individual link editing in the sidebar layers — no option available
- Searched help docs and tutorials
- Opened Layers panel — the whole group sidebar is nested under “Group,” no way to dig deeper
- Can’t delete or fully unlink the default “My Groups” sidebar
Extra context
I’m on a tight deadline and I’ve built out significant group content already. I’d rather not delete everything and start over unless I absolutely have to. I’m using image icons for each group, which currently look great — but all functionality breaks due to the linking issue. If this is a known bug or there’s a workaround, I’d really appreciate guidance.
