Am having issue with WIX purchased mailbox

Hi. I have just purchased a WIX mailbox which I am trying to configure (in addition I have a separate pop3 and a Gmail account). If I send an email from my pop3 account or Gmail account to the new WIX account the message only turns up occasionally. For example, if I fire off a number of emails from my pop3 account to the WIX account in quick succession they don’t arrive - ever. But if I do an occasional one here and there it’s fine. Perhaps I have missed something either in the WIX settings or Gmail browser window settings – I’m not entirely sure I didn’t miss something in the initial set-up. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
