Annoying 'site has been published' repeating messages

The attached message shows up every time I publish, even though I mark the ‘don’t show again’ checkbox.

Can’t find a bug report form anywhere - is this the right place? Or, where can I report this bug?

Hi Roy,

Welcome to the Wix Code forums.

The don’t show again applies to a “browser session”. That means that if you leave the editor (that is, you left the session) after a Publish , the next time you go into the editor and Publish , the message will appear again.

I suggest that to avoid getting that “annoying message”, just stay in the editor after Publish .

I hope this helps.

That doesn’t make much sense. What value do we get as developers from the exact same message that shows up every session? For me it’s just time consuming. What is the proper place for suggesting wix to change the behavior (e.g. ‘don’t show again’ means don’t show again)?

Well, as I said, if you stay in the browser the message won’t show up “again”, unless you leave the session.

If you would like a different behavior, you can post a Feature Request .

A site building process is usually done in several sessions, sometimes from different machines. I’m pretty sure that if you survey developers, big majority would prefer the ‘don’t show again’ option to do what it says it does. Thanks for the link

I’m on my 3rd day as a wix user and I’m already irritated beyond belief with this pop up. I keep the editor browser window open and I see this every time.

After searching in the issues… this is the right one I guess. Somewhere this year this function is changed. The checkbox did his work, but at the moment (and it seems a few months now) it don’t function proper anymore. The popup keeps on showing. Indeed very irritating. WIX, please repair this!
