I submitted a simple app to Wix App Marketplace for review 8 days ago, still no response.
The app contains only one widget iframe and one control panel with couple options that are passed to iframe as URL parameters.
What is the normal review time? Will it take so long for each update to be approved?

As per my experience the review time can vary anywhere from 1 day to a month. Really depends on the workload of the moderators and not the app size.
I am really disappointed that app review can take 1 month here. Similar app would be reviewed on Envato in a couple of days. Similar review time is on wordpress.org.
Eventually my app has been approved, one month after first submission. I had to wait 3 weeks for first review, and one more week after resubmission. When the app has been approved, I didn’t even get an email.
