Auto-increment is very useful to automatically generate a sequence of numbers for each inserted record in the collection. This number will form part of the record number and will be used for identification of the record purposely during searching or verification. Doing this in the front-end is not very logical which may bring duplicate issues especially in dealing with large collections. So, if this will be available in the Wix development platform, this will be a great feature and an additional point for Wix DevOps. I wanted to make this as a wish list for future feature for the Wix collection.
