Through my small jewelry business I run, these two features have created the biggest headaches so far. Wix works well for most of what I need, but about half of my orders are custom orders, so I make it specifically for one person. I create a product listing in Wix for the individual (usually titled with their name), however it then shows in my Wix store, which makes it look really unprofessional. (see attached image)
It also adds them directly to the front of “All Products”, so the first thing people see when they look at my shop are a bunch of “Custom Order for _____” listings, unless I manually go into the “All Products” page and individually move each one to the bottom of my list of products, which is very time consuming, and can still be seen if someone browses my whole shop. I would like the “share link” option to still be active for a hidden product, so that I can hide custom listings from appearing in my shop, but if I send the direct link to someone, they can still purchase it via the link.
The second feature that would be great to have added would be a site toggle to automatically hide items that are out of stock. I want people to be able to see what I have in stock in my store, and since most items I make are single-time items, there’s no point in having to keep going into my items and manually hide an item every time it gets purchased. If there was a toggle in settings to automatically hide out of stock items, that would be great!
