Automated emails

We sell retreats and we are having an issue with automated emails. When booking, the clients are receiving an automated confirmation of booking email correctly but are also received another automated confirmation email for a different retreat on a different date so it looks like they have booked 2 retreats! I have tried for hours to fix this using the AI help to no avail. Can anyone give any advise? Thank very much

This is a classic issue of duplicate or misconfigured automated workflows. Since your client receives one correct confirmation and one incorrect confirmation for a different retreat, your booking system is firing two separate email automations for a single completed booking. The fix is to find and disable the second, faulty automation. This is usually located in your platform’s Automations, Workflows, or Notifications Settings. Look for a rule that is either too broad (triggered by any booking, but linked to a static template for the wrong retreat) or a default system confirmation that was never disabled after you created your custom one. Pause or delete the automation sending the wrong email, then test the booking process again to confirm only one message is delivered.
