Automatically assign a custom role when a member signs up

I have created several custom roles that restrict access to pages based on these custom roles. Currently, I have to manually assign users to their specific role. When new people sign up, they still have to wait for me to manually assign their role which can take a day or longer. Can Wix please add this functionality to the member sign up settings?

I’ve heard from good sources that it’s in the works.
