Automatically mark a project as hired

Every time I get a new client from the marketplace, I have to explain to them how to mark their project as hired so other partners stop contacting them. I think a partner should automatically be marked as the hired partner when a quote is marked as accepted.

I know that this would remove their project from other partners so another solution that allows the client to still choose is when they click accept on the quote, they get a prompt immediately after to mark [Partner Name] as the hired partner. That way it’s front and center and easy for them to do.

I was JUST talking to my account manager about this … definitely needed … maybe let us mark the project as having hired us, and have them confirm via email …

@burkedunnweb That could be a good solution as well. The current process is definitely difficult and not obvious for the client.
