I’m brand new here, so hopefully this is posted in the correct place (if not please move it!).
I’m getting to grips with uploading a csv of products to populate the online shop. I understand that I can populate the csv with links to product images but I’m hoping to upload these images to my wix site (rather than throwing them on some image hosting site). I have all the images pre-named and ready to upload and I’m hoping theres a way to do the following:
- Bulk upload the images (I can do this)
- Reference the sites images by name (eg. product1.jpg) in the csv file
- Upload the CSV file and have the shop automatically populate with the images from the site
This might be a bad way of doing what I’m trying to achieve, if so I’m open to other ideas! Thanks!

Any feedback on this issue? even today this lacks WIX??? this is a simple basic functionality why WIX cant do this?

I also think this is the fundamental function to get the image path after uploading our product images as Wix site files. In this way, we can upload product information along with the image path in a single CSV file, and avoid manually connect products with images one by one. It is insane when we have a few thousand products to connect.
Using the external URL is not acceptable in most of cases, either for the loading speed concern, or the security concern.
It is ridiculous the lack of this feature.
One of the basic needs of any store.
