I am having an auction/marketplace website developed for myself and WixCode was released at the same time so I am wondering if it is possible to do this in Wix.
This is the software I purchased: http://ecommercemix.com/ - I also have hired a developer team.
My questions are:
Could we use the software above with Wix? Or could we develop a custom auction platform in Wix at this point?
Any thoughts suggestions or tips?

Anything is possible but it would take some time. The software you linked to does not seem to be an out of the box auction software. There is a list here http://www.capterra.com/auction-software/.
If you go through features you soon realise that building it today in WIX Code would take some time but it would be possible I guess. If you wait another month there will be features like joining collections out I guess.
I think it would take like two - three weeks to create a first beta version in wix.

The software is out of the box. I can post my dropbox links and installation pdf but it there a way to message you instead of posting that publicly? Because it is out of the box software it could work? If so, what would I need to point my developers to?
OR
The time line is fine for creating in Wix but we would want to do it when the features were available. Hoping option one is available now. I would be open to doing that working alongside my developers but would need some strong direction as the steps to take. First I believe would be mapping out the site and exactly what we want it to do and then seeing if this is possible at this stage? Correct?

Email received. What do you want me to do with it except Reading it? Compare to wix?
