We’re happy to invite you to test the latest Content Manager beta.
With this feature, you can connect buttons and images in a repeater to the “Add to Cart” action. This feature allows you to create a custom layout for a product list by using repeaters to showcase items from your store on a page.
How to try the new feature:
Make sure that the Content Manager is added to your site
Add a repeater to a page
Click Content manager / Add content elements and add a dataset to a page
Connect the dataset to the Store/Products collection
Connect the repeater to Data and select a component you want to connect to the Add to Cart action
Choose “Click action connects to” (for a button) or “Link connects to” (for an image) and select the “Add to Cart” option
Note : if you don’t see the Store/Products collection in the list, go to Advanced Settings of the Content Manager and make sure that Wix App Collections are enabled
Hi! I wanted to take a moment to thank you for the latest beta version of Content Manager. The feature to connect buttons and images on a repeater to the “Add to Cart” action is incredibly useful and allows me to create custom layouts to present items from our store on a single page. I really appreciate the effort and hard work you put into this. thanks again!
If you’re trying to use the button on your mobile device (mine is an Android with the latest operating system using Chrome) and there is a variation in the product, clicking the button doesn’t produce any action.

Hi, I was able to replicate this in Studio. However, I would like to add an Input element - Selection Tabs in order to allow site visitors to filter accordingly. The dataset I am using is the Wix App, Stores/Products. Unfortunately, I am unable to filter by Category. Am I missing something? It seems like that functionality would be very helpful.
Hey Ryan, it’s Agne from the CMS team. You’re right, currently it’s not possible to connect Category field (which in itself is a multi-reference field) to the selection tags. I’m noting in down and will take it within the team, thanks for sharing
