@brett-haralson Yep - I literally found out about the lack of scheduling last night when I started a new contract doing some content marketing. I was astounded and wish I’d known before I spent 3 weeks designing my client’s 2 sites late last year. You know I love wix but this one’s a shocker! Honestly, they just need to change it to have forward dating. How difficult can it be? Plus I have to manually post to my clients facebook and LinkedIn apparently.
Can we start a post on scheduling a post - it seems so basic.
I would tell your client to put them in draft. Then post them when needed. You can use a dynamic page for their content. Just make a writers page in the dashboard where they can fill the form. Its a workaround but I still use the wix blog since it’s well integrated.
Its not a forum; its just a blog…and I’m the one uploading each article. Drafts are fine but I still have to login 4 times per week to post, whether or not I am travelling, sick, on leave, without wi-fi, in hospital, dead or just over it. The lack of scheduling is bs and there’s no workaround. Perfectly good functionality was taken away and replaced with a poorer product in my view. I’ve designed more than 150 sites on Wix…I’m not whining about the platform; really, it’s awesome…it pays my bills. But this shortcoming has actually shocked me, not to mention the fact that it will cost me many hours of work.

I have a glitch with the wix blog database.
Currently the url links that revert back to the specific blog pages are producing capital letters within the url link, meaning that every time a user clicks the link it will show the 404 error.

Hey so done some investigating, this has occurred when I transfer all the blog posts from the old blog to the new one via the import tool.
I will have to manually go through each blog and change the SEO url link to lowercase. Thank-fully I do not have many blogs to do, but I think it should be flagged as a glitch on the import tool for the blog system.
