Wix needs a way for email subscriptions by blog category. One way would be to enable RSS consumption by a customFeed element (or a separate rssFeed element) with all the formating capabilities of customFeed.
There is a Corvid example for setting up a customFeed-like element for the site’s blog–it would be great if this were made a standard element (rather than requiring Covid/coding mastery); and it would be even better if it could also consume RSS feeds.
Development of element to consume RSS feeds could be coordinated with the Ascend team; Ascend very much needs the capability the produce RSS e-newsletters, if only to provide subscriptions to its own site blog by category.
Maybe this can be a functional enhancement developed as part of Editor X.
