Blogs, HTML, iFrame

Question:
Is it okay to publish the body of a blog using the embedded HTML? I write my blog in HTML and then paste it in. I’m increasingly concerned that this might not be a good idea, and I’m sceptical about whether Google crawls them properly. I wanted to try Inlinks for internal linking but it can’t read the iFrames. I don’t possess much technical skill. I’m used to WIX and don’t want to learn WordPress, etc… I just want to know if it’s ok to blog like this. If not, are there other options I could use to overcome problems that work well on WIX? The native blog I’m using is okay for me other than this issue and the odd alt text that’s absent. It would be great if someone with the technical smarts could answer.

Product:
WIX Blog
What are you trying to achieve:
I prefer to use HTML because I write with tools like Surfer ai etc.

What have you already tried?
I’ve only ever used WIX for a website. I’m no spring chicken so new skills take a lot of effort.

Additional information:
I’ve used HTML in frames on many web pages as well so those concern me too.

I’m no SEO expert, so I’ll leave that part up to those who know it better. Search Engine Journal is a reliable source and has an article about this - Google & iFrames: Debunking Myths, Understanding SEO Impact

From my own experience, I’d probably recommend trying to use the Wix Blog it’s self. It’s built with SEO in mind, and has tools to help with SEO, like the AI meta description generator etc.

Never heard of Surfer AI, definitely gonna check it out :eyes:
