I woke up yesterday to find that an image on my site that’s been animated to scroll across the bottom of my screen in my footer is no longer functioning. Instead of scrolling from off the page on the left, then traversing across the bottom of my page in the footer, it now only suddenly appears in the centre of my footer and scrolls maybe an inch to where it’s supposed to land. I haven’t changed anything, and I have created a ticket (after two hours of trying to work it out and chatting with customer service), but I’m just curious to know whether anyone else wakes up to little things like this… or even this. I’ve also had some of the images that I have edited with the Wix editor suddenly return to the original.

I had something similar happen once—my footer image suddenly stopped scrolling smoothly and just popped into place. What helped in my case was clearing the browser cache and then reopening the Wix Editor. That fixed it for me!
If that doesn’t work, another quick step is to reconfirm the animation settings (like start/end positions) or temporarily toggle the animation off and on again to refresh its state. Sometimes a hard reload of the page after republishing does the trick too.
