"Buy Now" widget/link from Mindbody not working in Wix

Hey,

Trying to embed a coded "Buy Now"link from Mindbody into my Wix website - ideally into an existing button, of which there will be numerous on the one page.

See below image - from the editor screen (would need this link on each ‘purchase’ button):

HTML iframe wont allow me to embed in the button and the only way the iframe functions properly in the preview is to make it large enough - which then means i can’t have multiple buttons on the same page.

Anyone experienced or solved this issue before?

Fully aware that Wix aren’t responsible for third party codes, Mindbody has the same response re third party sites - so not getting much assistance from either end.

I am on a paid Wix plan so assuming there is no sandboxing of the iframes?!

Hi, same here! :frowning: It works perfectly well with a Squarespace website so a bit frustrating to be looking around all day for some answers to make it work on Wix…
Hopefully someone has the answer.

I did a workaround so the client could keep working with mindbody. On the services page I added a button next to the service that directs to a blank light box. which only has a “Add to cart” button. This button is actually the link/widget created in mindbody and it opens up the sign up form. Please note that I had to tweak the HTML coming from minbody so the button is mid-aligned and not to the left. Then size the widget to a full page in the light box so it shows the entire form. See attached.

It is a bit unprofessional to have the user to click on buttons one too many times so they can open a form but not having other page elements in a blank light box is the only way of dealing with the widget that takes up all the space in the editor.

On a side note, the minbody support is a huge mess. I tried explaining my client that all the CRM she does on mindbody can be done in wix with ease and more customization freedom. However, like most clients, she is afraid to leave and deal with a new platform regardless if it will make live easy for her.
Wix may want to do a blast campaign to have Wellness, Yoga, Pilates etc. businesses understand that they can do everything within Wix instead of dealing with restrictive 3rd party platforms and their widgets.
