Can I limit discussion posts in Wix Groups?

My site utilizes the Wix Groups app/add-on. I would like to limit which members can actually post to the group discussion page - essentially making them “view only” members. This doesn’t seem to be an option in Wix Groups settings as it stands. So I’m wondering if I could add some code in Velo…

Is there a way to only allow specific members with badges or roles the ability to post? What code should I use?

^^bump^^ Dealing with a similar question… I want to count the number of posts by a user in the group (NOT the forum!), but I can’t find any means to do it…

Unfortunately, Wix widgets do not allow intervention. I talked to the support team. Actually, how can such a vital feature not be available? It is not acceptable.
