Can site members "use" pipelines?

I’m working in Wix Studio, hoping to set up a kind of workflow or pipeline for my site members to use.

We want to be able to track progress of building surveys, from when the request comes in to when the survey has been finished and sent to the client.

I really like the look of Pipelines, but how do I get my site members to be able to move their cards along the process themselves? It seems like Pipelines is a back-office thing…

I know I can link datasets to a site page, so I’m planning to test using the CMS to emulate a pipeline/workflow arrangement, but I thought I’d ask first in case there’s something I’m missing!

You’re right in the fact that Pipelines are built for managing the site, rather than a feature for site members.

That said, it’s likely very achievable with the CMS. Each card is a row of data, and is displayed according to your needs.

Depending on what you need, depends on how complex it gets, and whether you’ll need code or not
