I’m trying to gather ideas on scenarios where the password data field can be useful.

Hi Carlos,

The password input type is for creating a custom login form.
It’s basically a normal text input box which hides the typed characters.

But we can’t create custom login forms, can we?

You can’t customise the built in login form.
You can create one by yourself, if you do so please check out this post.
