Cannot get Horizontal scroll effect on mobile working

Recently I have added to my site a horizontal scrolling column based on this given Wix studio tutorial [How to create a horizontal scroll effect on Wix Studio] wix[.]com/studio/academy/tutorials/%D7%A0uild-along-to-create-a-horizontal-scroll-effect)

The design is very nice and works well on Desktop and Tablet browsers.
But for some reason I could not reproduce the function on mobile, even though it works well in the demo and on the Wix editor preview, I could not get this to work on any mobile device I have tested it on (iOS safari, Firefox, edge, chrome), it seems like the “Move” trigger is not functioning in mobile devices.

Still no response from Wix?

I’m having this issue as well and have built an entire website on Studio that is trash on Safari mobile. I thought I was building something so innovative but it looks like Wix promised something it couldn’t actually deliver. I’m so distraught. I’ve spent months on this project.

Are you able to share a link to the site and where you’ve managed to get up to?

I’ve not encountered this issue before, but could be related to a device setting - have you had the chance for friends or colleagues to test out on their mobiles?

I’d also recommend taking a look at sites like Apple which tend to use the horizontal scroll effect desktop, but will often remove it on mobile.

On the whole, this forum is mainly for the community to help and support each other with the knowledge and expertise they have. If someone’s able to support, they’ll usually chip in :slight_smile:
