Does anybody know how to stop cells from overflowing the section they are in?

What are you trying to achieve:
I am trying to stop cells from overflowing the section they are in. They keep automatically overflowing the section, particularly when I switch from editing in desktop dimensions to editing in mobile dimensions, but sometimes just whilst editing in desktop.
What have you already tried:
I have tried manually clicking and dragging, and changing the dimensions manually, but cells do not allow for either of these. I have tried making the section larger, but the cell automatically extends with the section and stays overflowed.
