I have installed the Wix Chat app.
I’d like to be able to clear the message history at the end of the conversation, but cannot find anything that allows this through the Wix Velo API?
Meaning every time the conversation is opened the entire history is there.
Appreciate any help in advance.
This functionality is not currently available afaik. The chat will always have the record of whenever the user interacted with it as a full history.
I believe you can archive conversations from the owners app, but this would be manual and I haven’t tried it to see if it is then cleared for the site visitor.
I have tried and it is not cleared for the site visitor. This is an important feature that i wish Wix would have. I’ve been trying for hours to find how to clear chat history. It’s very dissapointing that you can’t clear it…
