I am relatively new to WIX and the whole CMS package.
I have been battling for days in getting a CMS repeater with the static pages for the menu to work correctly. If I stick to using a pre-filled template, and swap out the original bits with my stuff, it all works perfectly.
If I use a blank template, or start from scratch it does not work. The blank template has a plain text story field. That is not suitable for my needs. I need to have rich text. This option is available by changing the field type. The field is then visible and I can add the text I desire. When previewing or publishing the new pages the text in the rich text box is not shown.
I have tried designing the whole process from several different starting points none work and that is where I have wasted many hours. I have been completely deleting all reference to a failed CMS before starting a fresh one to ensure I do not get mixed up by using the wrong elements.
Now that I have a method of working correctly I am not that bothered about the errors I have had. I would just like to know why, when a feature is made available it does not work. Or, Have I been missing an essential element?
