CMS Unavailable and Sandbox Collections Missing

I’m having trouble with
Today when I went to work on a site, I clicked into the CMS from the editor and selected “Manage” (my collections) as always, and got the message “This page isn’t available”. However, nothing has been changed and I can see the collections in the list in the CMS flyout but can’t go to them or I get that error. When I’m on the CMS card and it’s displaying that error, at the top it says “Dashboard” and seems to be the wix dashboard (for the site, not in the editor) - this seems odd as well and I don’t believe I’ve ever seen that occur.
When I go to CMS from the dashboard for the site, it only shows Live Collections but I have hundreds of items in the various Sandbox collections and am unable to access (when I click the CMS tab in the editor and the flyout opens where I can see the collections, all of them still show they have the correct number of items in Sandbox as they should). When opening from the dashboard and only able to see the Live Collections, the collections are all still there, but they are just empty. I can edit from there, but only the live collections. And yes, sandbox is still enabled and was never turned off so everything should still be there. It seems like Wix is having a glitch or something I’m guessing?? Or is this only me?

Wix Classic Editor, Dev Mode, and CMS

What I’m trying to do
Be able to get all functionality back.

What I’ve tried so far
Cleared cache, cookies, chatted with helpbot, logged out and back in.

Extra context
There was some update from Wix today that changed where forms are located. I’m assuming this has something to do with the problem, but I can’t find any other help articles or posts about this being an issue, so I’m not sure.

I’ve not seen any other reports about this happening. Is this still happening for you?

Hi, this is currently happening to me too and has been happening since yesterday. Typically, when I open up CMS in editor or go to my collections to manage the content, the window says CMS. However, now, when I try to open CMS in editor, it pulls up the dashboard and dashboard version of my collection and will no longer toggle between sandbox and live collections. I’ve checked my settings and I still have sandbox enabled, nothing has changed. I cannot view my sandbox collections at all right now.

A few questions:

  • Is this the Studio or Wix editor?
  • Have you get dev mode on or not?

This is in Wix Editor (for me, at least). We do not currently have dev mode on.

@Aileen_Tran @webflipper @Byron_Wolfe - can you try refreshing the editor and trying again? The team’s made a change :slight_smile:
