I set up a new site, d171218, by copying in code from d171215. All is well except the Home screen reports that it can’t load the code right now.
Hi,
When do you see the error (Does it appear in the code console in the preview mode?)
What is the exact error message you see?
Also, if your site is published, can you provide the URL?
Thanks.
The error occurs at the instantiation of the editor followed by clicking the “Home Page Code” bar at the bottom of the Home screen.
The site is not published.
The message is, centered on two lines as follows:
Code not loaded.
We couldn’t load the code for your page. You can try again later.
:End of message
Thank you, Yotam
Robert, I’ll check soon and report back.
Does it happen on other pages as well? Is this new site a copy of the previous site?
Thank you for your response and upcoming investigation.
This site was not created using the duplicate site button. I wish to revise the database schema so didn’t wan’t a duplication.
All (there is only one, named Account) other page code loads successfully as does all source code in the public and backend folders.
Again, my most sincere thanks.
Can you send a link to the template you used for this site?
Here is, I hope, a link to the template per your request:
https://www.wix.com/website-template/view/html/1791?originUrl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.wix.com%2Fwebsite%2Ftemplates%2Fhtml%2Fbusiness%2F1&bookName=create-master-new&galleryDocIndex=0&category=business&metaSiteId=
Possibly useful information: I have used this template half a dozen times.
We are still investigating, it looks like a one time issue specifically with the site you created.
If it stops you from working and you can create a new site, please do.
In case it’s not possible, please bear with us while we find the root cause.
Thanks for your patience.
I shall move ahead with a new site. That was my plan.
Thank you, Tomer
OK, we found the root cause, it looks like a very rare case that caused the file to be missing.
We will work on a fix as soon as possible so it won’t happen again in the future.
Thanks for your report and understanding, and enjoy coding
