Collapsible Text is Buggy and Unusable

I am having trouble with collapible text in Wix Studio. On the Desktop breakpoint, I set it to “show all” because there’s plenty of room to show all the text. On the Tablet breakpoint, I set it for a particular number of lines showing, and on the Phone breakpoint for a different number of lines showing. When I publish it, the Desktop breakpoint does not show the full text anymore, and has no “Read More” so the text just ends in the middle of a sentence.

It’s the same whether or not I set the Desktop as collapsible and reveal all the text by increasing the showing lines, or set the Desktop as “show all” and then adjust the descendent breakpoints so they look right. The change in the number of lines in breakpoints lower than Desktop affects the desktop view.

This makes “collapsible text” useless. Please fix it. Or get rid of it as an option. We spend a lot of time trying to get this to work, and then we have to revert and redesign the breakpoints. Really quite pathetic.

UPDATE: the Desktop “Read More” button appears if the the screen width is narrowed enough, but disappears when it’s about half the width or more of my desktop screen. Nothing else disappears when the screen is widened, so this doesn’t seem right.

Still the problem remains of achieving what I want for this piece of text.
Desktop: Not collapsed
Tablet: collapsed to a certain number of lines
Phone: collapsed to fewer lines
Full text in Phone view for this particular looks ridiculous. So any workarounds for this would be appreciated.
