Is it possible connect an external database in Wix? How can I do it?

Maybe through other systems but not directly into Wix. There is no connector functions in Wix yet. Try to find some other system, maybe Zapier can go get the REST API of SQL Server?
Today it is possible using the DB Drivers feature
