Can we expect that even the websites created on the old editor can still be converted to the new Wix Studio Editor?

What are you trying to achieve:
I am trying to use the latest features of the new Wix Studio Editor to one of my websites here in Wix (https://www.boardwalkbites.com/).
What have you already tried:
I already contacted support and they already said that the new editor will only work to websites created starting on Editor X. However, I am still hopeful that the development team will find a way.
