It would be so wonderful if I could create coupons that are applicable to as many collections as I would like – this would allow for coupons that have exceptions, eg. “20% off sitewide, excluding the products in x and y collections.”
As far as I can tell, right now coupons can be either applied to one collection or blanket, sitewide. If I’m wrong about that please let me know.

Unfortunately at this moment, applying coupons to your multiple collections within your Wix Store is not possible. Thanks for the #featurerequest for #WixStores!
If you’re dealing with lots of items, it may be difficult to do it this way… but, I would create a separate collection (i.e. 20% Off) and put my sale items in that group. Do not create a web site page for that collection. Just leave it hidden. Then make your coupon apply only to the 20% Off collection.
