We just launched Swedens first gardening chatbot a couple of weeks ago. It is made using Wix Code and Motion.ai. In the Wix Code side we use http functions, custom made admin interfaces, a whole bunch of data collections connected to each other using reference fields.
We also use external services like Easycron.com to execute scheduled tasks in Wix Code together with the excellent http functions.
This chatbot is made for Facebook Messenger and it now has more than 80 users that use this assistant every week.
In the chatbot users can register, edit their profile information, they can add, edit or delete records directly from Messenger in Wix Data Collections. They can use AI and NLP together with search and find functions in Wix Code.
The Wix Code parts is more than 3 000 lines of code for version 1 that was released the 23rd of April 2018. In the version 2 which will be released the 29th of April the codebase has grown a lot.
I decided to give away the first hour of this course for everyone to actually see the bot, the data behind it and understand what is possible using Wix Code together with some awesome tools.
