Custom permissions in wix iframe

Question:
We are trying to integrate a video call service into our Wix website. However, the iframe automatically added to embed our code does not include the necessary permissions for camera and microphone access.

Is there a way to customize the permissions of this iframe to allow access to the camera and microphone?

Please how do I gain access to a webcam using wix code or iframe?

Adding my html code to an html terminal it asks for camera to be turned on the capturing process works fine but when I add this same html code to a wix iframe window, no request is made to turn on camera thus the camera capture doesn’t work. Please how do I solve this problem?

Perhaps, if you were to implement it now, it would be better to use custom elements. The method described in that article probably still works, but it’s more of a workaround from the time when custom elements didn’t exist in Wix. Personally, I kind of like it, though!
