Custom Registration Form with Wix Members

I’m working in Wix Studio. I’ve tried to create custom Sign Up and Login pages through the instructions in this documentation by Wix (Velo: Enabling Custom Site Registration).

I get to step 3.2 and there isn’t a “Signup & Login” dropdown or menu. There are options in the “Member Authentication” dropdown (created when installing Wix Members Area) for “Signup form” and “Login Form”, so I click on one of those and continue through the steps to step 3.4 and I can’t find the “Velo Form” dropdown in any menu or setting. Also finding dropdowns menus or settings for step 3.5 wasn’t successful either.

I’m trying for this method of custom Sign Up/Login forms because I need custom code to check for email domain (members would need to be apart of our organization).

The documentation linked is from December of 2025 so there might have been an update in the last 9 months that hasn’t been documented yet. Or I have just completely missed something. If so please let me know as possible what I’ve missed or how to get this working with or without this method.

Yeah it does for the most part.

I have since gone ahead with the default Sign Up and Log In forms and have admitted in defeat that I would have to go through manually and remove any accounts that aren’t apart of our organization.

I’m still open to having the custom forms to check for email domain if there is a solution for that or if it was a simple thing that I have missed.

I havnt looked into the new Members Authentication App yet, but there may be a few ways to achieve.

…edit…just realised that if you delete the Authentication app it returns to the old way where you can make a custom form.
