Hi All,
New to the forum/first post.
I’m trying do a slider to show off my customers logos, like the link below has done:
https://www.roller.software/
Though struggling to find it on the options available.
If anyone could point me in the right direction that would be much appreciated!
Cheers,
Paul
Adding a slide show with multiple logos on each slide will produce a similar effect but not the exact same
What Mike said is easier to set up, but you can also create this with HTML and CSS and insert into an iframe if you want it to have the exact same effect.
Yours would be the preferred option David as I dont think you can have individual links on Mike’s suggestion can you? Thats if I’m looking at the testimonial sliders…
@ghostcreative you can assign an individual link to any image on a slideshow
@mikemoynihan99 Would that achieve the same effect as this: https://www.roller.software/
@ghostcreative It wouldn’t be a smooth consistent scroll, it would show a few items at a time before switching to the next slide with a sidescroll animation.
Finally found a solution. You can add the Slider (The one below slide deck) from Wix Pro Gallery and it has an autoplay feature (you can go to settings > layout > custom layout. Additionally you can also change the image ratios and preferrable that you use PNGs with your desired shape and also you can remove the slider arrows visibility and also turn an annoying heart icon provided with the slider. Hope it helps !
There’s something called Wix Logo Showcase that does this, however it costs nearly £50/year (at least), which seems a lot for just one website feature. And crucially, you do NOT have to pay for an app to do this, Wix already has the required tools - you go to Add Elements (the + symbol) then select Gallery > Pro Galleries and select Slider (as endawrajddep mentioned). You’ll then need to customise it as follows…
- In Settings > Main > Manage Media, add your logo images
- In Settings > Layout > Customise Layout
Gallery ratio: Manual
Thumbnail resaize: Fit
Loop image: selected
Slide automatically: selected
Select “Continuous”
Set “Slideshow speed” according to preference (50 works well)
Pause on hover: deselected
Spacing: according to preference e.g. 30
- Settings > “When clicking on an item”: “Nothing happens”
- Settings > “Social Settings”
Deselect “Download”
Deselect “Social sharing”
Deselect “Heart icon”
- Settings > Design: Make overlay colour 0%, deselect Text Display, deselect all buttons, deselect Navigation Arrows,
- Settings > Advanced: Keep as default
