Date filter on Dataset

Hello
I have data loaded into a data collection. The collection has a date field and a bunch of rows tied to a date. My requirement is to show only the rows that are attached to today’s date.
The issue is that there is no date filter on the data set.
I have used a simple grid. The data is showing up fine unfiltered.
Any help would be appreciated.
