Hello, that sounds challenging. 
Let me start with a basic question: could there be any incorrect settings in the editor causing the element to be hidden? For example, is the element partially transparent, has a light color, or showing a checkered pattern? Have you added any Velo code to the site? Is the address of the page you’re viewing correct? (Sometimes, choosing “View Site” from the popup screen after publishing may not take you directly to the intended page.) Also, when viewing the live site, try opening the browser’s developer console and check if any errors are displayed.
