Automated AI review for App Market submissions
Get your app live in the App Market a lot faster. Submissions are now reviewed automatically against App Market requirements and return results in minutes, allowing you to fix issues and publish quicker.
Set Up Your Payout Account
We’re streamlining the payouts process - you can now set up a Tipalti account before your app is published, instead of waiting until your app reaches a minimum amount. To publish a paid app, the account owner must become a Wix Partner and complete this one-time setup at the account level. If your app has already earned revenue and you have a payout account set up, no action is required.
Introducing - Verified Apps
In addition to letting you publish your apps independently, we are now introducing the Verified badge - the App Market’s first recognition tier for apps with a proven track record of quality and reliability. Apps that meet Wix’s requirements earn a Verified badge in search results and on their listing - a trust signal that puts you on the path toward Wix Choice. Once your app meets our verification criteria, Wix will get in touch regarding any improvements or changes you need to make in order to become Verified.
Sign In with an External Identity Provider
Members can now sign in to your headless app or site using an external identity provider, such as Google or Facebook. Add a sign-in button to your own interface and Wix handles the provider authentication flow - no redirect to a Wix login page required.
New - AI Credits API
The AI Credits API lets your app read an account’s AI credit balance, including recurring credits that replenish automatically and one-time top-up credits. Use it to show the available balance in your dashboard or enable AI-powered features only when enough credits are available.
Add External URL Extensions with the Wix CLI
You can now add External URL extensions in apps with the Wix CLI. Use them to link site collaborators from the dashboard to your external service, opened in a new browser tab from the Manage Apps page.
Wix CLI ‘dev-site’ Command
The Wix CLI now includes a ‘dev-site’ command for managing your app’s development site without the interactive site selector. Use it to list, select, or create a development site from a CI pipeline, a script, or an AI agent session.
New API Highlights
- Certifications APIs – New API to read Wix Academy certifications held by Wix accounts and the individual users on them.
- Marketing Google Ads APIs – New APIs that let your app create and manage Google paid advertising campaigns.
- Bookings Attributes APIs – New APIs to define custom properties on Bookings entities and attach values to them.
- Balance Records API – New read-only API for the ledger of financial operations on a Wix Payments merchant account.
- CMS Compliance API – New API to capture compliance-related changes to a site’s CMS content and broadcast them for review.
- App Extensions API – New API to create, manage, and validate an app’s draft components before releasing them as part of an app version.
- Meetings Provisioner API – New API to set up Wix Meetings infrastructure on a site for apps that rely on Meetings when customers may not have the app installed.
- Marketing Plan API – New API to generate and manage AI-driven social media marketing plans for a site, including activities, calendar events, and content settings.
- Wix Assistant Statistics API – New read-only API for aggregated analytics on AI Site-Chat interactions, including conversations, visitors, and response times.
- Marketing Email Transmissions API – New API to send and track transactional and marketing emails to contacts, users, or email addresses.
- Stores Promotions V3 API – New API to create and manage promotional banners on store category pages.
- Payments Payouts API – New API to list and retrieve payouts from a Wix Payments account.
- Wix Restaurants Reservation API – New fields for cancellation policy and cancellation fee state on reservations and locations.
