Direct to other Dynamic page on form submission

Hello,
I’ve tried to find a solution but can’t seem to find any post that helps me solve my problem.

I have a form on a dynamic page for a certain product and I want the user to be directed to a “thank you page” once they click on submit.

The user starts on a “all products”-page, clicks on the one they like and it opens a dynamic items page with that item. They can then click on a “Reserve”-button to get to the next dynamic page (also items page) where they can fill in information that we require for them to be able to reserve the product for purchase. (The idea is to have a web shop but instead of having the client pay online they reserve the product.)

Once they get to the reserve page (which is dynamic and contains the specific details about the unique product like title, color, price etc) and once they fill in all the required fields and click the “Reserve”-button to place their “reserve order” I want to direct the user to a dynamic “Thank you”-page where they will see a confirmation with some static texts and the page will also include the details about the product they just reserved. I have tried wixLocations and I have tried using the settings in the “connect to dataset” options (on the actual button) to link to a page instead of stay on the current page but it just gives me an error and plus it requires me to choose an item from the dataset to direct to which is odd, I want it to direct to the “current item”.

Anyone that has any suggestions? I’m fairly new to corvid but starting to pick up some bits here and there so I’d really appreciate all guidance I can get.

Are you using a Wix Form element? If so, this is the event where you should place your wixLocation.to() code, using your dynamic dataset’s getCurrentItem() for your dynamic link:

I’m not using a Wix form element, I’ve created the form from scratch and connected to a new database which will store all the reservations.

I don’t know how to write the code and in which order it should be (as in setting up the code), is it possible for you to put up an example code? It would really help a lot! Very much appreciated! =)

As mentioned before, you’ll want to use wixLocation.to() for your redirect:

If you hooked up your form to submit using a dataset, then this is where you’ll want it:

or if you want to submit your form data with code, you can place it here:
