How do I disable Amex in my store?
Product:
Payment method is too expensive and too risky. I want to disable it.
What are you trying to achieve:
I want to save money and avoid chargeback which Amex carholder are reknown for.

i need to do this too. american express fees cost way too much and im losing a lot of money in fees.
WE are also trying to remove AMEX from the list of CC accepted in our WIX store. Fees are too high. I can only remove all CC or keep all. I only want to remove AMEX. Any tips yet on how to do this?

Well who is your payment provider?
Your payment provider is the one that determines what cards are accepted and how much fee to charge you.
I use Square. They don’t charge extra for American Express transactions.
