I am losing a lot of data when the simplified view is enabled in google chrome on mobile devices. My contact info etc. are gone when it is enabled.
Is there no way to let google know that I don’t want my pages getting simplified? Or is there any way to let it simplify it with my preferred info untouched if it is supposed to suggest users to use simplified version? My website is https: // www . delilavukatlik . com if you are interested in seeing my problem with mobile devices when it is enabled.
I really hope that someone has a solution to this problem.
Me too. This simplified view makes my site look like awful and Chrome also has a warning saying that the “Connection is not secure. You should not enter any sensitive information on this site”
Thanks for the reply! That would be how the visitor disables Simplified View. Is there a way within our Wix account to disable that Simplified View from being triggered when a customer visits our Wix website? I never see the Simplified View option appear when I visit websites, it just appears when I go to a Wix website.
I think you guys are mis-interpretating the question here… Other web-creators you are able to “circumvent” the problem that your visitors will get the message “simplified view” when the use Chrome on Mobile devices.
While with WiX the users who gets to a page, always gets this message.
So we are fully aware that the user have this option…but, we want to avoid that so the experience gets better for all your visitors with Chrome.
Do you know who to make this setting as the admin or a wix-site? I haven’t managed that.
